Activity 8: Green roofs and photovoltaic
New researches on Green roofs and pv are done in Japan and Germany in 2011.
Summary: 25 degree Celsius is the reference temperature of PV-cells. This temperature garanties the highest efficiency. Green roofs can cool down PV – Cells in summer and can enhance the energy output a few percentage. At least this higher amount of energy helps to finance the green roof under the PV-cells.
The second advantage: Green roofs helps to fix PV constructions without any penetration on a roof.
